BarMUN XVII will be hosted at the Boston Park Plaza, which will serve as both our meeting space and the official hotel for all delegates.
Our hotel, in addition to offering excellent guest rooms and meeting spaces for delegates, places delegates in the heart of Boston’s eclectic Theater District. It’s also just a block away from Boston Common, the Boston Public Garden, and a short walk away from the Massachusetts State House. The venue also offers incomparable proximity to many of the city’s most popular sites and attractions via Boston’s public transportation system, the “T,” giving your delegation explore the city with ease.

The room rate at the Boston Park Plaza has been set at $239 per night. This year, the BarMUN secretariat has worked to decrease hotel costs, focusing on our commitment of making BarMUN more affordable and accessible. Please contact sg@barmun with any questions and concerns about hotel rates.
Getting to Boston Park Plaza
BarMUN XVII is committed to reducing its carbon footprint, and as such we encourage our delegates to use public transportation when possible. These options also tend to provide the most inexpensive option to and from travel hubs compared to rideshare services. If you are using the MBTA (also known as “the T”), CharlieTickets can be purchased at any underground station.
If you are using public transportation, ensure you leave ample time to travel from Boston Park Plaza to your travel hub after the conference concludes. Public transportation in Boston runs on a reduced schedule on Sundays, which may increase wait times.
Arriving via air at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)
Take your terminal’s shuttle bus to the MBTA Blue Line station. Board the Blue Line inbound towards Government Center and downtown Boston. At Government Center, change to the Green Line and board any train towards Copley & West. Exit at Arlington; the hotel is one block south on Arlington Street. $2.40 per rider.
Arriving via Amtrak/Commuter Rail at South Station
Take the Red Line towards Alewife. At Park Street, change to the Green Line and board any train towards Copley & West. Exit at Arlington; the hotel is one block south on Arlington Street. $2.40 per rider.
You may also walk to the hotel by heading west on Kneeland Street. The distance is approximately 0.8 miles.
Arriving via Amtrak/Commuter Rail at Back Bay Station
Exit onto Columbus Avenue, then walk two blocks northwest to the hotel.
Arriving via Amtrak/Commuter Rail at North Station
Board the Green Line towards Copley & West. Exit at Arlington; the hotel is one block south on Arlington Street. $2.40 per rider.
Arriving via intercity bus
Check your travel itinerary to determine where your bus terminates; most buses drop passengers off at South Station or Back Bay Station.
Arriving via car from MassPike (Interstate 90) eastbound
Take exit 133 onto Huntington Avenue. Keep right towards Copley Square. Turn left onto Charles Street, then turn left onto Park Plaza. The MassPike is tolled; use this calculator to determine your fare.
