ABOUT THE FLOWER WARS: AZTEC TRIPLE ALLIANCE
The Flower War, or Xōchiyāōyōtl in Nahuatl, was a series of ritualistic conflicts between the Aztec Triple Alliance and its enemies, the city-states Tlaxcala, Huejotzingo, and Cholula. The Aztec Empire Council represents the leadership of the mighty Triple Alliance, formed in 1428 by the city-states of Tenochtitlan, Texcoco, and Tlacopan. The year is 1505. For weeks, the Aztec Empire has moved in closer and closer to the Coalition borders. However, the Coalition has started showing resistance. In the face of growing resentment both internally and externally, will the Aztec Triple Alliance continue its aggressive military campaign to strengthen the empire, or will it’s ambitions be the seeds of its downfall?
