Christopher's Haven was founded in 2001 with a mission to operate a supportive community of temporary apartments and recreation programs for families who have children being treated for cancer at Boston hospitals.
BARMUN XIX’S PARTNERSHIP STATEMENT
BarMUN XIX is proud to announce our philanthropy partnership for this fall with Christopher’s Haven. In alignment with BUIAA’s initiative for all branches to spotlight organizations connected to a shared UN Sustainable Development Goal, we sought a partner whose mission creates noticeable impact here in the Boston community. Christopher’s Haven provides supportive housing for families of children undergoing cancer treatment, helping ease the financial and emotional burden during an already challenging time. Their commitment to ensuring that families can prioritize their children and stay close while receiving life-saving medical care resonates deeply with BarMUN’s values. We chose Christopher’s Haven not only for their impact on these children’s lives but also for their dedication to making healthcare more accessible for those who need it most.
