ABOUT HOUSE V. NCAA

For decades, college athletics operated under the illusion of amateurism, until the rise of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rights shattered the system. As lawsuits mount and public pressure intensifies, NCAA leadership, university athletic directors, media executives, athletes, and labor advocates find themselves locked in a battle over the future of college sports. Billions of dollars, athlete livelihoods, conference realignments, and institutional power structures hang in the balance. Delegates must navigate settlement negotiations, media influence, athlete organizing, and the creation of a new governing framework for college athletics. Will the NCAA adapt and survive, or will the era of amateurism collapse entirely?
